Funded Projects

Since 2015, the GIBD lab has been a leader or key participant in 31 grant projects, amassing more than $13 million in total funding, over $1.9 million of which has been the lab’s direct portion. Its funding sources are diverse, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Taylor Geospatial Institute, NOAA Sea Grant Consortium, NASA, and the South Carolina Department of Social Services, among others.
